Innocent Young Princesses And Flakey Bimbos:

Here’s another example of real life branching out into the virtual world.

The newest toy to bounce into the hands of unsuspecting pre-teens and teens is the virtual game Miss Bimbo. With members given a naked virtual character and cash to provide her with anything from breast augmentation to new clothes for a beauty contest, the site boasts of around 246 024 registered ‘bimbos’.

Parents in Europe have raised concerns over the sensibility of such a site especially when a father found money deducted from his mobile bill due to messages his daughter had sent to fund items for her bimbo. It’s the Tamigotchi phenomena all over again, only this time, the repercussions on impressionable young minds could be worse.

Plastic surgery, as branch of medicine is misunderstood a lot when tagged alongside such consumer horrors. Boards like the ASPS rule that persons under the age of 18 should not be encouraged to have a plastic surgery procedure except if it is for reconstructive purposes.

Imagine the ideas that a 10 year old playing this virtual game would get if she could get her online bimbo a breast enhancement surgery or any other cosmetic procedure. After Britney Spears’ revelations about her own teen breast augmentation procedure and the subsequent reversal surgery she had due to discomfort, these types of messages should be discouraged.

Top plastic surgeons at the Plastic Surgery Institute of California, an advanced surgical institute located in Beverly Hills, Orange County and Los Angeles, insist that young patients undergo a careful screening procedure in order to determine the exact need for cosmetic surgery before going ahead with further consultation.
